Hello again! I don’t think I’ve ever introduced myself properly and maybe I thought at the time it was unnecessary–now looking back, so very necessary and important. I know my sense of vulnerability is on the line but I think its time I share a little (or a lot) of me. Here we go..
So my name is Wendy, if you don’t know that already. I have three dogs, Grizzly, Snow and Zeus. ALL three are pits, and all three are amazingly loving and excited to meet anyone new. I can’t say I’d have it any other way, even after destroying our furniture, going through our food cabinet. They are my babies!!
I married my best friend for 4 years, they’ve been the best years and toughest years of our lives. When people say marriage is hard, were they right! No sugar coating the truth, anything that challenges you emotionally, spiritually and mentally will push you outside of your limits to grow. I am thankful for the mate I have, he is a hardworking man that ALWAYS gives his 100% to any needs anyone asks of him.
I left my 9 to 5 job, years ago, in pursuit of something that really was my passion. Now this passion never came into true set goals till recently. I was dabbling between my crafting skills and photography, going between them two because I was still figuring out what I loved. I had that final push from my husband, got over my fear and decided, okay lets pursue photography. I sat down, started researching “How to start a photography business” and started filling out the paperwork through the county and city all the necessary steps to make myself legit. I can finally confidently say, I AM LICENSED!! WOOOHOOO!!!!
Thank you to the friends/family that have stayed on the phone, encouraging me to get pass my fears and slay my dragons. Thank you to all my peoples that have had baby photos taken from me, I know its work gathering the little ones to getting dressed/ready/happy during the whole photoshoot. Let me tell you though, I personally think I’ve gravitated to capturing the goofiness, meltdowns, giggles from the little ones more or so than the adults. Something so candid, can’t be staged. I love that! (Sorry I got sidetrack, back to what I was sharing..) Thanks to my husband that believes in my creative talent, I appreciate you Lyle (if you are reading this). I am forever in gratitude to you!
Until then, head over to my Instagram and keep up to date with the fun stuff I’ll be up to!
