Snow– No-Ne + Introduction

Advertisements

“I don’t know if I’m okay being alone with her”, was the first thing I said to my husband when I first purchased her for him. You see Lyle had all the intentions of looking into finding a German Shepard, no luck (she was our first pitbull breed). He stumbled onto her by chance when he noticed this timid dog, super friendly, never growled when he approached her. Instant love for him.

I on the other hand, a little hesitant from all the preconceived notions from society and what I’ve heard: Pits bulls are vicious, pit bulls are not family dogs, the list goes on. Well, the time had come for me to alone with her, boy was I scared. Little did I realize Snow was as well. I started small, petted her–she starred at me like “keep going”. Eventually that worked up to holding her, hugging her, and throwing toys around in the backyard. To my surprise, she had already knew commands, “sit”, “stay”, “lay-down”,  and “shake”. Lyle and I were SOO surprised!  From that point on, she broke our fear for pitbulls and brought broaden our love for Zeus (our next dog) and Grizzly.

We love her, she definitely is my husband little follower. He can never do NO wrong in her eyes– love their bond.
