Since the pandemic, so much as changed. How we celebrate big milestones has taken a very different style in a very crazy time in the world. It has affected how we gather, how we share community, how we hold each other close during a time where distance seems to be the key.
For some of us, birthdays have taken a brand new style in celebrating. They are now called “drive-by” or “parades” of celebration. I had the honor of curating a sweet birthday drive by for a friend that entrusted me with this task.
She gave me two key words, whimsical and donuts. So to the pinterest board I went. I gather visuals, colors, and a scan of what has been done before sketching what I might be envisioning.
Having a curbside party might be the newest way to celebrate, minimal mess, small window to entertain with all the love to still share! I hope during this pandemic, as much as things have definitely changed for all of us, we get more creative in ways we share big celebrations and love for each other.
