With the 31st coming upon us, I know a lot of my friends dread the idea of candy during Halloween. You tend to find them hiding the tash in box in the back of the pantry, on top of a closet shelf hidden in a shoe box, you name it. So I thought, what do kids like more than candy? Some fun activities!! Now I know not all kids will go for it but I’ve learned that usually if you razzle dazzle them with better alternatives, they tend to go for it. With a majority of craft stores going on sale with their Halloween section, take advantage and shop the discount prices.
I found these fun “finger tattoos” at TjMaxx in the aisle towards the checkout, super fun and different. You can also use an alternative for girls as fun nail polish stickers, or maybe a favorite Halloween movie like “Hocus Pocus”.
I inserted this photo of chocolate chip cookies as a way of putting these treats into the pumpkin baggies. The cookie is my Chocolate Chip Oatmeal bake treat. I’ll definitely post at another time my recipe.
