As I continue to go through my gallery of photos, I realized I haven’t shared my experience at the car derby. I know that car derby’s may not be exactly for everyone but in this case, you don’t know until you go right?
I was fortunate enough to go, and be in the pits-amongst the mud, gas fumes and loud exhaust noise. It was super fun! My husband’s co-worker was racing his nice ol’ Nova, with all its bents, scratches and bare to the bone interior. It was exciting to watch, just cause I was upfront, able to see what they were doing. Hope the photos paint a fun picture of the day. I’d definitely go again, I heard his wife just recently got a derby car. (WOOHOO!)
