Lets all be honest, Instagram is such a great place to easily get suckered into the latest and greatest on styles and outfits. You click on on the item and you find yourself backtracking out of the page because let’s be honest, noone has time to spend $85 on a top (at least for me I don’t). I find myself calculating in my head what else I could be doing with that money or where else I can find something as equally good.
On the other hand, we still want the great name brands, labels and great quality without sacrificing style or price. Now this requires a little work but you definitely walk out of the store feeling pretty dang proud!
My go to places are Marshalls, TjMaxx, HomeGoods, and Nordstrom Rack. Now the key thing with these places, and we all know it– it can get a bit overwhelming when you have to sort. Key thing is knowing the layout of the store. If you know exactly where the high end dresses, jumpsuits, dresses and etc. are-head there. Don’t ever dismiss the idea that they would never go on clearance, THEY DO!! Look for the red label sticker! (If you’re lucky, they’ll stick another sticker on top if the inventory does not move).
If you see the jumpsuit I’m wearing, yes its $15 in-store! I was lucky the double stacked the sticker twice. Let’s say you aren’t near any close Marshalls, Tjmaxx or HomeGoods, head to their website! If anything their prices are SUPER comparable. When they have free-shipping days, take advantage. If the item doesn’t work and lets say you do want to return the item, you are welcome to drop it off at one of the closes stores near you.

Now for this waist belt leather bag, from Teddi Joelle- I have kept my eye on this item for awhile. Sometimes certain online stores hold “Sample Sales”, I was lucky enough to see their add on Instagram and decided to sign up for the notification when they would go on sale. I was super lucky to catch the sale since I lost my first opportunity the first time and the item ran out, this time I set my alarm! I truly believe its worth signing up for the notifications, you’ve got NOTHING to lose.

- Know the layout of the store.
- Find your clearance racks.
- Check their online store for comparable prices.
- SIGN UP for notifications, look for “FREE-SHIPPING” days, discounts and etc.
- Get gratification knowing you’ve got the BEST DEAL on top of DEAL!!
