Raise your hand if you feel baking can be intimidating? I felt this way until I realize there are so many hacks out there that make it super easy to use when wanting to make some type bake good.
Trader Joes had recently come out with a “Blood Orange Cake Mix”. I’m very relentful in purchasing the mix, because 1. cake mix can taste super sweet and 2. there always seems to be an after taste. After trying their “Mochi Mix”, I had to try the “Blood Orange” mix. ( Side notes, the “Mochi Mix” was delicious)
The basic and simple ingredients needed in the recipe were only eggs, water and butter. How easy is that? Even better, there were yummy pieces of citrus flakes in the mix. I decided to add some slices of orange candy pieces on to dress it up instead of using the icing that came with the cake mix.
However you decide to get creative in the kitchen this Easter, have fun with it. There are no rules to follow by, hope this inspires you to get creative and do something fun!
